Sometimes I need a little late-winter pick me up, and this time it came in the form of fleeced-back Under Armour. Simply by Ti stocked this super soft activewear fabric last month, and I knew it would be perfect for the whole family.

It’s still cold here most days and this fabric is really nice next to the skin, or for layering pieces. I decided to make an entire ‘family’ of raglans using Jalie Patterns.
My daughter and I are wearing Marie Claude Raglans. It’s so nice that I can print all 22 sizes at once, no need to print separate patterns because Jalie creates one pattern for all the sizes!
We are wearing the crew neck version in the plum under armour. I absolutely love this color! I’m a bit picky with my purples, so when I find one I love it’s a win. I’m smitten!! This fabric is super soft…you probably get tired of me saying this in my blog posts…but having soft comfortable clothing is a must for me.

I thought about making the version with the thumbhole cuffs, but decided to hack the pattern and make these thumbhole cuffs instead. I find them much more comfortable. I have a coat with the standard thumbhole cuffs that come out of the inside cuff seam, and it’s just not very comfortable. This is much better!
I made these raglans a bit oversized because the fabric had slightly less than 50% 4 way stretch. I think I could have stayed with the same sizes but I love that these are oversize and work as layering sweatshirts.

My daughter and I had way too much fun with this photoshoot! I found this wall walking downtown recently and it makes me so happy! It was so windy that day…we were having hair issues.

For my husband, the Nico Raglan was in order. This is a fitted raglan and, again, I sized the pattern up. I need 1 1/4 yards for a long sleeved shirt, so 1 1/2 should be enough for my 6 foot tall husband, right? Um…no — so in denial!! I had to cut the front bodice in 2 pieces just to get everything to fit, so hence the reason for the stripe. I think it covered up my problem and it actually looks okay.

These two are my favorite!!
These look great, and the stripe looks intentional!
