Hey y’all, I’m Stephanie and I’m the sewing enthusiast behind this blog! Thanks for stopping by!
Here on my blog, I share tutorials, my makes and pattern reviews. I love quality fabric and well-drafted patterns. I think with knowledge, practice, and good equipment, anyone can learn to sew. I sew for myself and my toddler…and my husband once every blue moon.
I am a thirty-something gal living in South Carolina with my husband, daughter and bulldog. I am a SAHM and sewing teacher.
My sewing addiction started around age 8, when my mom helped me sew a sunflower print skirt. Both of my grandmothers were avid sewers, but I am probably the only sewing obsessed granddaughter. I am petite (5’2″ tall), have narrow shoulders and a small bust. I am also a conservative dresser and I don’t like paying a lot for cheap fashion. As you might imagine, sometimes shopping RTW (ready to wear) doesn’t turn out well. Because I love style and am a stickler for fit, I learned to sew my own clothing.
I think many of us are not a standard size, so let’s get over that and sew ourselves something that fits!
